About Emeline
I am an AP humanities-based student who wants to provide good honest tutoring that anyone can afford. I have taken AP Lang and Lit all with an AP test score of 4+ while also having taken all honors English courses otherwise. I have experience tutoring kids in essay writing, reading comprehension, and grammar for people 4-17 through NHS and outside jobs. I want to help foster a love of reading and writing while preparing students for their next step, whether that’s their spelling bee, AP test, or college. Please reach out with any questions!

As a tutor my style of teaching is very flexible to the student but my core values stay the same. Not everyone learns the same way so I base my tutoring on discussions with my student about what is working and what’s not so whether they already know how they learn or they need help figuring it out I am there to support them. Once we find something that works I still want to keep communication at the forefront of our lessons. I know what it’s like to be in a classroom where the teacher’s teaching style just doesn’t work for you and I am here to provide the specialized help everyone needs.
