About Amelie
I am a recent high school graduate, I spent four years at Queen’s High School in Dunedin and two years at Te Aho o Te Kura Pounamu. I studied English, Statistics, Calculus and Classical Studies in Year 13. I was also a student athlete as a member of Dunedin's National Cutting Edge Synchronised Ice Skating Team. In February I am moving to Auckland to skate with New Zealand's International Obsidian Synchronised Ice Skating Team. I teach figure skating to children aged 3-13 in group and private settings and I also coach adult learn to skate. I have a passion for reading and writing, and am planning to study Law at Otago or Auckland University. I also have a certificate in Child Safeguarding from the Sport Integrity Commission.

I cater lessons depending on the student’s way of learning. I believe that the way you learn is important because not everyone learns the same way and if you’re being forced to learn a different way you can be hindered or you may not reach your full potential. I have a good sense of humour and love watching people reach their goals.
