About Yasmin
Hi! I'm Yasmin. I will be studying Law with Crimonology at the University of Chester this fall 2021. You're probably wondering why a Law student wants to tutor English lessons. I just gradated highschool in June with an IB Diploma. And English was pretty much the most important thing in attaining this diploma. I wrote so many essays with different purposes, audiences and varying word counts. While my school tried their very best to provide students with all the helpful resources, there was still a lot I had to do on my own to get the grades I did. While I was lucky enough to be able do all the extra work on my own, some of my classmates weren't particularly good enough in English to do so. So I took it upon myself to help them by tutoring them and the results were amazing as most of them had a drastic improvement in their grades. In my opinion, it would be a complete waste if I didn't use my IB experience to help others better their grades. Although I'm just 18 years old, I can be very professional when needed while still being relaxed enough for my students to learn comfortably. I have many leadership qualities which I've used to attain leadership roles like the first Secretary General to host an MUN conference in my highschool, first Student Director to direct a school play and many other leadership roles throughout my highschool career. You have nothing to worry about because I'm here to inspire confidence and help you recognize your true potential in order to improve your English grades.

English is definitely a subject to be enjoyed. I will be teaching IB English, World Literature, Spelling, Essay Writing, and more. The typical length of a lesson is an hour. I know this might seem long and boring but with the inclusion of fun activities and exercises, you get to have loads of fun and retain vital information to better your grades.
As a recent high school graduate, I would put a modern approach to my teaching that my students can relate to. I also have the skill of designing my lesson plan according to my student in order to make things comfortable for him/her.
I got an A* in my IGCSE English as a first language and a 6 in IB English HL. I have also tutored some of my friends and increased their grades.
My lessons will be for high school students.
