About Katie
I graduated in 2020 from the University of Alberta with a First Class Bachelor of Arts Honours degree in History and Political Science. I am extremely passionate about making history exciting and accessible to people of all ages, as I believe that many curriculums do not help students actually learn, but rather memorize facts. If fact memorization is something that you need help with however, I can also help with that. I truly enjoy teaching and would love the opportunity to help you with your studies.

I have tutored social studies and history for both high school and university level courses for several years and I want to make history accessible and exciting for all learners.

My specialization is in politics and gender in Europe during the early modern era (15th-18th centuries), however my expertise also extends into the modern era (19th-21st centuries). I have also taught several high school level history/social studies courses.
