About Makaila
My name is Makaila, and I am a rising senior attending Bowling Green State University, studying History and Political Science. I have been teaching students since 2022, during my time in my local Pony Club, and have taught in both Ohio and Kentucky.
My main field of study is American History, with an emphasis on the 1940s onward, but I have experience in Western and diplomatic history as well.

My sessions are designed to help alleviate the stress around learning about history and government. I focus on identifying the specific areas that you need help with and help you turn them into manageable bits through interactive activities and tasks. I adapt to your specific learning style and help you develop studying strategies that stick with you through your academic career.
My lessons are designed for both middle and high schoolers, from chapter tests to larger exams. I have experience in both standard classes and AP and college credit classes.
