About Naina
Hello! I'm Naina, a History postgraduate and B.Ed graduate with a passion for teaching and learning. Over the past five years, I have worked as a Social Science teacher in schools, helping students develop a deeper understanding of History, Political Science, Geography, and Economics. I also have more than 10 years of tutoring experience, working with learners from different backgrounds and learning styles.
I believe that education is most effective when students are encouraged to think, question, and connect concepts with the world around them. My classes are interactive, student-friendly, and focused on building strong fundamentals rather than memorization.
Alongside teaching, I am also preparing for the UPSC Civil Services Examination, which has further strengthened my understanding of History, Polity, Economics, Geography, Current Affairs, and analytical thinking. My teaching combines storytelling, current affairs, maps, diagrams, and interactive discussions to make Social Science easy to understand and remember. I believe learning should be engaging, meaningful, and connected to real life. Rather than focusing on rote memorization, I help students understand the "why" behind events, ideas, and concepts.
A typical class begins with a question, story, or real-world example, followed by concept building, discussion, and practice questions. What makes my classes unique is my ability to connect historical and political concepts with present-day issues, making learning both enjoyable and relevant. My classes are suitable for school and college students, Social Science learners, and students who wish to build a strong foundation for competitive examinations such as UPSC.
