About Joseph
I like to help fellow human beings. I don't judge people by their level of quantitative skills. I am a statistician by training, and I try not to dwell on just the math but the practical nature of the field and its relevance. I strive to always highlight the context as I teach to make sure the student leaves the room with something she/he can apply when the class is over

Look at the problem at hand, ask, and listen to the student explain before detailing my approach to the solution. My solution always ends on the level and class. I can handle students from high school to PhD level in both mathematics/algebra and statistics. In a few words, I listen, probe, and iterate through examples before I deliver the final solution
