About Cassandra
Hello! My name is Cassandra, and I am an Honors Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering student at the University of New Haven with a 3.87 GPA. I am passionate about helping students build confidence in STEM subjects and discover that challenging concepts can become manageable with the right guidance.
In addition to my coursework, I have been selected for a competitive NSF-funded research program and currently work as an undergraduate researcher studying environmental and energy-related engineering topics. My experience includes chemistry, mathematics, engineering analysis, physics, and scientific research, giving me both a strong academic foundation and practical problem-solving skills.
Beyond research, I serve in leadership roles with the Society of Women Engineers and American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE), where I regularly communicate technical concepts and mentor students through STEM outreach activities. I have presented engineering and chemistry topics to learners ranging from elementary school students to college peers.

As a tutor, I focus on helping students truly understand concepts rather than simply memorizing steps or formulas.
