Everyone struggles learning things, so I, of course, have. You just need to find a good environment and a method for learning. I never argue against getting a small sweet treat or snack for study breaks, so it's a pretty judgment-free zone.

I teach grades 10 and under. For teens, learning difficult topics without proper support can be impossible; I find that communicating learning needs in learning environments is necessary. People learn in different ways, and I pride myself on adapting to their needs when they're struggling. These specific topics can also be quite frustrating, so it doesn't hurt to indulge in breaks every once and awhile, which I find to be extremely important when trying to create a healthy relationship with learning.
