Honours BSc graduate teaches biology, chemistry & math with personalized visual explanations and practice-based learning

A family friend connected me with Breanne for high school pre-calc and calc, both in person and online. Her teaching style is fantastic. Rather than just giving answers, she breaks down complex steps and asks guiding questions so you actually understand the math. She was a huge help!

I met Breanne through a family friend, and we also went to the same high school. She was always really thorough when explaining things and would stop to make sure I understood and give me time to ask questions. I especially liked how she used visual aids when we were doing practice problems because it made things a lot easier to follow.

One time we were working on a really hard calculus question that she hadn’t seen before, and we ended up going over our lesson time trying to figure it out. It was actually really cool to see how she approached a question she didn’t already know how to solve, and we ended up working through it together and figuring it out.

I would definitely recommend Breanne as a tutor! She’s really patient, easy to ask questions to, and actually cares about making sure you understand the material.
