About Samuel
I am a graduate of the University of Southern California (USC) and currently work as a Clinical Research Coordinator at a large academic medical center in California. Through both my professional research experience and years of tutoring students ranging from elementary school through college, I have developed a passion for helping others understand and appreciate science.
My goal as a tutor is to create a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, building confidence, and developing a strong understanding of foundational concepts.
Outside of work, I enjoy going to concerts, hiking new trails overlooking the ocean, and testing new recipes.

I believe that students learn science best when they understand the "why" behind the material rather than simply memorizing facts. My goal is to help students build a strong conceptual foundation in biology and chemistry while developing the problem-solving and critical-thinking skills needed for long-term success.
