About Saniya
Hi! I'm Saniya, a Mathematics major at IIT Kharagpur, India's most competitive STEM institute (~1% selection rate), completing my integrated B.Sc. (Mathematics) + B.Ed. That makes me a formally TRAINED teacher, not just a math student: I currently teach at DAV Model School, IIT Kharagpur as part of my teacher training, and I have over a year of one-on-one tutoring experience.
Why I teach: because "math anxiety" is real. I've watched too many bright students believe they're "just bad at math" when they were simply never taught the right way. Fixing that is my favorite part of this job nothing beats the moment a student's "I can't do this" turns into "wait, this is actually easy."
My classes are patient, structured and judgment-free. You can ask the same question five times, and I'll explain it five different ways until it clicks.
