About Anastasiia
I am a 3D Animation & Visual Effects student at the School of Visual Arts (SVA) in New York City and a recipient of the Silas H. Rhodes Scholarship. I also have experience teaching and assisting in art classes for children, as well as previous experience as a 3D and illustration artist and as a producer for a studio dedicated to short films.

My lessons focus on drawing, illustration, character design, sketching, and visual storytelling. Instead of following a fixed curriculum, I adapt each lesson to the student's goals, interests, and experience level.
What We Can Work On:
Drawing fundamentals: shapes, form, proportion, and perspective
Sketching and developing ideas
Character design and character development
Poses, expressions, and gesture drawing
Composition and visual storytelling
Developing an illustration from an initial idea to a finished piece
Color, value, and basic lighting
Stylized drawing and developing your own artistic style
Creating artwork for games, animation, comics, or personal projects
How Lessons Work:
We will work on projects based on what you want to learn. I can help you develop an idea from the first rough sketch, provide feedback throughout the process, and teach the techniques needed to bring your artwork to a finished result.
A typical lesson can include a short explanation of a specific technique, guided practice, and working directly on your own project. I focus on explaining not only how to draw something, but also why certain artistic choices work.
You don't need to already have strong drawing skills. We can start with the fundamentals and gradually build toward more complex projects.
Lessons are available for youth and adults and can be adapted to different experience levels.
