About Cabria
Through my degree in political science and hands-on work experience, I have amassed a concrete understanding of the policy making process. I have developed mastery in courses in the subjects of American, comparative, and international politics as well as political theory. My knowledge was sharpened in these areas with my experiences assisting faculty research at my University.
I also have experience working in Washington DC, where much of my understanding of our system comes from. I worked for a prominent Nongovernmental Organization that intersected with many areas and organizations involved in the policy making and enforcement processes, and was able to see them in action.
Like my experiences, the tutoring I provide will be unique and grounded in said experiences. My approach is a very personalized one, and I will employ various strategies until we find what keeps you interested and improving. I have a great deal of experience working with people who have learning and developmental disabilities, and will empathetically develop strategies that make successful completion of schoolwork less of a stressor. I believe that the most important catalyst for learning is inspiration, so removing obstacles to it is a key component to my approach

Our government can be extremely confusing, but I will help you break it down to understand the facets of the system in context with one another. I am equipped to meet you where you’re at to help you truly grasp the material in meaningful ways. I have a deep love for our system, and I want to inspire the part of you that cares about these things and apply that lens to your own coursework.
