About Hussan ul
I was average at mathematics when I was younger, and even throughout university. To understand something, I had to work hard, it was never the case that I could just study once and everything would make sense immediately. And now today, I am an incoming PhD in Mathematics at Imperial College London.
I completed my undergraduate degree in Computer Science and Mathematics at the Pakistan Institute of Engineering and Applied Sciences (PIEAS), one of Pakistan's top universities. I then moved to South Korea to pursue my Master's at Kyung Hee University, where I studied mathematics and physics. During my time here, I've enjoyed K-pop, met amazing friends from all over the world, and experienced many different cultures. I also perform classical guitar at concerts as a side passion, which helps me understand the world from a different perspective and keeps me focused in mathematics. Outside academics, I enjoy hiking, running, going to the gym, and reading about mathematics, philosophy, physics, art, and nature.

I have been teaching maths for almost 3 years and the biggest lesson I learnt along the way was that once your fundamentals are clear, even the most advanced topics become much easier. Having taught everyone from young children to PhD students, I've realised that every difficult problem can be understood by breaking it into simple, logical steps.
I teach almost all undergraduate mathematics courses, including Calculus I–III, Linear Algebra, Probability, Statistics, Differential Equations, Numerical Analysis, Real Analysis, and Optimisation, as well as graduate topics such as Advanced Linear Algebra, Information Theory, Coding Theory, Quantum Mechanics, Quantum Information Theory, and Quantum Computing etc. My research background means I know the best textbooks, resources, and problem-solving techniques that go far beyond what a typical tutor can offer, helping you build real understanding rather than just preparing for the next exam.
