-Rather than learning content by simple memorization and basic understandings, I explain to students the "Why" or the "How" behind what they learn. This allows students to better understand the nature of their coursework, and thus better application of this knowledge can be developed.
-A key component is for students to be familiar with explanations and logical reasoning, which I integrate within my classes. Questions or clarifications are strongly encouraged at any point during the lesson.
-Showcasing the fascination of different subjects, not just learning purely for examinations. However, there will also be an emphasis on exam techniques and strategies.
