About James
Hi, I’m James — a current medical student at Imperial College London, one of the world’s leading universities. I have a particular interest in neurology, neurosurgery, and cardiothoracic surgery. Having been in your shoes not so long ago, I understand the challenges of balancing study, exams, and future aspirations. My goal is to help you achieve your academic ambitions, whether that’s progressing to your dream course or simply building confidence to succeed in upcoming exams. I believe that being a strong academic also means being well-rounded. Outside of my studies, I’m a keen rugby player and enjoy playing the guitar in my free time — qualities that help me bring energy, balance, and relatability to my tutoring sessions.

Experienced Tutor — Biology, Chemistry & Maths I’m an experienced tutor, specialising in Biology (GCSE & A Level), Chemistry (GCSE), and Maths (GCSE). My teaching approach focuses on making complex ideas simple, helping students build both confidence and deep understanding. As a current medical student at Imperial College London—one of the world’s leading universities—I bring a strong grasp of advanced biological, anatomical, and chemical concepts. This allows me to challenge high-achieving students, enriching their knowledge beyond the school curriculum, whilst also supporting those, who find these subjects difficult, to gain confidence, proficiency, and achieve the target grades they aspire towards. Each tutoring session lasts one hour and is interactive, engaging, and tailored to each student’s learning style. I’m passionate about sparking curiosity and developing critical thinking to help students enjoy learning and achieve their best. In addition, I offer expert guidance for medical school applications and interview preparation.
