About Jude
Hi! I'm Jude, I am an EFL tutor from Nigeria and I'm super excited to meet you. I have over two years experience teaching English for various purposes online to students from all over the world. From preparing students for proficiency tests such as TOEFL, IELTS etc., English for work or preparation for a job interview to simple conversation practice in English, I'm here to help and guide you in your learning journey.
My hobbies are reading about various topics that interest me, teaching, learning about other cultures and people, trying new cuisine, listening to cool music, watching soccer, watching movies and learning foreign languages.
Having learned two other languages (Korean and Portuguese) and saw how daunting the various aspects of picking up vocabulary and grammar can be, I decided to teach English as a foreign language to students from all over the world and I love this job and don't see myself quitting anytime soon.
I am reliable, punctual, empathetic and passionate about the progress of each of my students in their English learning journey. Making mistakes in my classroom is not something to worry about as I make my class a safe environment to foster learning as much as possible.

- My teaching method is that I basically tailor my lessons to the individual goals of each student; I strive to see to their progress in reasonable time.
- A typical lesson with me has these parts: review of previous knowledge, introduction of new material or item, review of accompanying vocabulary, activity, practice, discussion, and feedback/corrections, homework.
- As a tutor, I'm passionate and very empathetic about my students' progress and this is what sets me apart when I teach.
-My lessons are for teenagers to adults, from intermediate ability in English upwards.
