About Jenny
My background is in business—I graduated from the highly selective NYU Stern School of Business (4% acceptance rate) and have worked in consulting and strategy—but my enduring passion has always been literature, teaching, and mentoring young students.
I have 3 years of teching experience, primarily with high school students, working on SAT and IB topics, as well as personal admissions essays.
Since deciding to get my MA, I have gotten offers from top schools such as Stanford, Uchicago, and UC Berkeley. I am very familiar with Canadian/US admissions at both the graduate and undergraduate level.
I bring both an analytical and creative perspective to my tutoring, helping students strengthen their writing/language skills and navigate competitive admissions with confidence.

My lessons are for high school students, or students in grade 7-8 who are looking to bolster their language skills prior to high school.
My lessons revolve around each student's personal needs. I am comfortable creating my own material or following the students' existing curriculum. I will always review students' essays/assignments outside of class to ensure that class time is used as effectively as possible.
