About Christopher
I have been working in statistics in some form or fashion for 30 years, with diverse roles in labor economics, market research, product development, evaluation, business intelligence, and consulting. My knowledge of statistics is grounded in academic work as I hold a B.A. in Sociology with a Concentration in Analysis and Research from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. The concentration track includes Ph.D. level statistics coursework covering topics such as multiple linear regression models and PATH analysis. Based on feedback from peers, clients, and former direct reports, I am consistently described as approachable and personable. My approach to coaching is to listen intently to those I work with and to truly understand their needs.

To the extent possible, I like to bring in examples from my own experience or from other sources that show how to apply the principles being taught in my lessons.
I believe what sets me apart is less about the depth of knowledge I have (some topics in statistics are rather obscure and not extremely prevalent in practice) than it is about the breadth of my experience across many industries. This is primarily due to my experience as an independent consultant, where I have executed hundreds of projects, many of which involved statistical procedures.
Lessons would be most valuable for students seeking more detailed information or for professionals requiring comprehensive reference materials.
