About Alexander
My name is Alexander and I presently work as an industrial chemist at an electrocoating facility. I not only have experience in industry, but I have also tutored students in the past with great success. I have worked with students K-12 teaching subjects like chemistry, mathematics, GED, and general science. I have also worked with students who have a variety of neurodevelopmental disorders such as ADHD, autism, ODD, intellectual disabilities, to name a few.
My philosophy when it comes to teaching is to be as accessible as possible, demonstrate each step, and to simplify concepts so that they are more easily understood. For myself, I have a physical disability, ADHD, and processing issues and I can understand how overwhelming information can become when faced with these challenges.

For my lessons, I annotate using an iPad Pro and an Apple Pencil so that we can work on homework assignments and practice problems together. As mentioned in the above statement, when teaching, I don't skip steps, nor do I take shortcuts. I make it a point to ensure that each step is demonstrated. Even if my student fully understands the material, I will still ensure that each step of the process is shown so that they can have a better fundamental understanding of the material.
For my Canadian students, I have taught high school math and chemistry at both the college and university level and for my American students, I have taught AP Chemistry, Algebra I, II, and geometry. I have also taught elementary and middle school math/science.
