I believe that trust must be fostered by having a fun opening session to encourage students to be open and confident that I am here to help.
Lessons should be taught in a manner that suits the individual to help fully engage the student's interest. Like anything, learning is better when it is fun - so I like to get to know the student's interests and use "teaching games". This way, the lessons will be an educational vocation that can be enjoyed.
I will consult with the student regularly to ensure the program is working for them. The process will be altered accordingly and changes are made iteratively as necessary to keep progress in line with goals.
