About Camille
Having grown up across China, Singapore, and the UK, I have learned firsthand how to adapt to different environments—an experience that makes my teaching approach deeply empathetic, versatile, and clear.
As a prospective University of Exeter Psychology student holding an A* in A-Level Psychology, an A in Theology, and top GCSEs (grades 8–9), I bring both high academic standards and fresh, relevant insight into modern exam requirements.
My drive for teaching grew out of my experiences as a Head of House Prefect and a primary school volunteer. Mentoring younger students and guiding them through academic and personal challenges made me realize how transformative personalised support can be. I do not just teach subject content; I teach students how to think critically, structure high-scoring essays, and build genuine self-assurance in their work.
Dedicated, reliable, and grounded in proven study methods, my goal is to help every student unlock their full potential and enjoy the learning process.

My approach as a tutor centres on active learning, clear content breakdown, and exam-board precision. Having recently completed my own A-Levels at The Leys School with an A* in Psychology and an A in Theology, I know exactly what examiners look for and how to build confidence in learners.
Methodology & Techniques
Active Recall & Exam Technique: Lessons go beyond passive reading. We break complex topics into digestible frameworks, practise essay-scaffolding, and work through past-paper questions to master exam timing and structure.
Analytical Skills: Drawing from my Extended Project Qualification, I teach students how to evaluate evidence critically—a vital skill for top-band GCSE and A-Level responses.
Lesson Details
Duration: Standard lessons are 60 minutes (90-minute options available for deep dives or exam prep).
Format: Available in-person across Cambridge, or remotely via online video lessons.
Target Audience: GCSE and A-Level students studying Psychology, Geography, or Religious Studies/Theology, as well as primary students needing core academic support.
Qualifications & Experience
Confirmed BSc Psychology student at the University of Exeter.
Academic results: A* in A-Level Psychology, A in Theology (Religious Studies), and top GCSE grades exclusively at grades 8 and 9.
Hands-on experience as a Fawcett Primary School volunteer and Head of House Prefect mentoring younger students.
