About Sofia
Hi! I’m a multilingual tutor passionate about languages and cultural exchange.
I speak Italian, French, and English fluently (and some Spanish), and I’ve always believed that languages are much more than just words — they are the most powerful way to connect with new cultures, people, and experiences.
For me, learning a language is the key to truly traveling, not just visiting places. It allows you to understand local life, build real connections, and experience things you would otherwise miss. This is exactly what I want to help my students achieve.
I decided to start teaching because I enjoy helping people gain confidence and discover how rewarding learning a language can be. There is nothing better than seeing someone go from feeling unsure to speaking naturally and enjoying the process.
I am professional, patient, and adaptable, and I always make sure my students feel comfortable and supported during lessons. Whether you are a complete beginner or looking to improve your fluency, I will guide you step by step in a relaxed but effective way.

My approach to tutoring is focused on real communication and confidence. I believe the best way to learn a language is by actually using it in practical, everyday situations rather than only studying grammar.
In my lessons, I combine conversation, vocabulary building, and targeted grammar explanations depending on your level and goals. I adapt every class to the student: whether you want to improve speaking, prepare for travel, or build a strong foundation, I will create a personalised plan for you.
A typical lesson lasts 60 minutes and is structured but flexible. We usually start with a short review, then move into conversation and practical exercises, and finish with feedback and tips to improve quickly.
As a multilingual speaker (Italian, French, and English, with some Spanish), I understand the challenges of learning a new language and can explain concepts clearly in different ways. I have experience helping people feel more comfortable speaking and gaining confidence fast.
My lessons are for beginners to advanced students, adults or young learners, and especially for people who want to speak naturally and confidently in real-life situations.
I also offer lessons in person in Sydney!
