About Lisa
Ciao belli! I’m Lisa — 26, Italian, and currently based in Melbourne. Whether you’re trying to connect with your roots, impress someone on a date, survive a job interview, pass an exam, or just flex with a new language, I got you. I teach Italian to all levels — beginners, pros, and everyone in between. I’m a polyglot, have 5+ years of teaching experience (in Italy and abroad), and a degree in Languages and International Relations — so yes, I know what I’m doing My classes? Fun, chill, and actually useful. You’ll speak Italian from day one — no death-by-grammar here (well... maybe just a little ). Lessons will be previously discussed with each students and will be structured according to every need they may have.
I like to keep a casual and chill vibe, while maintaining professionalism and reliability.
I usually tend to focus more on conversation and the student's speaking skills, grammar will be just a part of it, but not the main one.
I like to choose a topic in accordance with the students and provide material (texts, videos, songs, podcasts, poems etc...) to discuss about it.
I don't only wish to teach this language, but I also aim to raise awarenees about some important topics, such as culture, climate change, travelling etc, so that the lesson can be both useful and interesting.
The most important thing for me is that the student goes home feeling relaxed, satisfied and that has learnt something new and useful, both for their professional/academic and personal life.
