Perfect! Ivor is definitely a trustworthy tutor. He’s friendly, humble and patient, which allows me to relax and play in front of him. He points out areas where improvement are required gently. He’s generous in sharing his precious knowledges, e.g. how would he interprets a musical piece, emotions required and how should I bow. This saves me a lot of time and troubles! I’m glad to have Ivor as my tutor.

Ivor has been such a positive influence on my violin and music theory journey. He is patient, encouraging, and empowering in his teaching method. I have been given a great amount of agency to work through issues but at the same time been supported throughout.
I wholeheartedly recommend Ivor :)Ivor has been teaching our 7-year-old daughter to play the viola for 9 months now – and we couldn't wish for a better teacher! From the very beginning, he has managed to get her enthusiastic about the instrument with his patient, humorous, and at the same time, very knowledgeable manner.
The lessons are wonderfully varied: in addition to teaching playing technique and actual music-making, Ivor regularly incorporates rhythm exercises and ear-training tasks. This creative approach is not only great fun for our daughter, but also promotes her musical understanding in a playful way.
Our daughter enjoys going to lessons every week and has made amazing progress in this comparatively short time – both technically and musically. It is particularly nice to see how much she has developed her love of music through Ivor's lessons.
We are very grateful that Ivor has introduced our daughter to music in such an inspiring way and can recommend him without reservation.Lessons are well structured and systematic, giving excellent progress and most importantly, are fun.
