My Teaching Methodology for Reading and Literature
Hey everyone!
I believe reading and literature are not just subjects but experiences that shape how we think and feel. My approach to teaching is designed to make learning engaging, interactive, and meaningful.
1. Storytelling & Discussion – Instead of just reading texts, we will explore them like a conversation. I’ll encourage open discussions, allowing you to express your thoughts, interpretations, and even debates about the themes and characters.
2. Context-Based Learning – Literature is more than words on a page; it reflects real-life events, emotions, and cultures. We will connect what we read to history, current events, and personal experiences to make it more relatable.
3. Active Reading Strategies – I will guide you through techniques like annotation, visualization, and summarization to improve comprehension. You’ll learn how to break down complex texts and engage with them deeply.
4. Creative Expression – Writing and literature go hand in hand. We’ll experiment with creative writing, role-playing, and even storytelling exercises to enhance both understanding and appreciation of literature.
5. Personalized Learning – Everyone has a unique reading style. Whether you prefer classic novels, poetry, or modern fiction, I’ll help tailor the learning experience to match your interests and strengths.
