About Marissa
I am currently a junior at Binghamton University majoring in Integrative Neuroscience with a minor in Education. My long-term career goal is to become a high school biology teacher, and tutoring is an important step toward building the skills and experience I need to support future students. Through my coursework and experiences, I have learned that every student has a unique learning style. I am patient, understanding, and adaptable, and I make it a priority to adjust my approach based on what each student needs to feel confident and succeed. I am also a hardworking and dedicated learner myself, which helps me relate to students who may feel overwhelmed or unsure.
