About Amelia
I want to help students learn how they comprehend information best as when I was younger every tutor I had never listened, made my struggles feel invalid, made me feel unseen, and they never made me feel safe asking for help. That's why I find it so important to listen, validate, and be flexible around my teaching methods based on what students need. I also understand some weeks are going to be harder than others. And that's okay. Putting in what you physically, emotionally, and mentally can is the most important part. My job is not to put pressure but to relieve stress around English. That is my number one goal.
