Hello, I love to learn and look forward to working with students to look at reading in new ways. I recently graduated with a Bachelors degree in Elementary Education. In August 2022 I began my first year ever teaching in first grade!

My approach to lessons is to include variety. Students manipulating, seeing, and using sound/words in different ways is something I believe will benefit them!
In one lesson we may:
-look at an individual phoneme,
-say/write the letters and words with that phoneme
-read a passage/story with that same phoneme
-sort/rewrite words with the phoneme
-isolation/deletion/segmenting/blending drills
-word chains/word manipulation
