About Katie
My name is Katie, and I graduated with a degree in Creative Writing last spring (2026). I knew from a young age what I wanted to study, because I have always been passionate about fiction– both reading and writing it.
Stories have brought so much joy to my life, and it's important to me to help others access that wonderful world! However, I know not everyone loves to read as much as I do. If you're struggling (or if you just don't like your English classes), that's totally okay– let me help you find a way to complete your work painlessly.

My tutoring lessons are structured around your assignments. I want to help you turn in work that you (and your teacher) feel is well done. Good reading and writing skills are a foundation you can rely on for the rest of your life!
I became a tutor because I love reading and writing, and I want to share that joy with others. I believe that everyone, regardless of their test scores, is smart and has something worth saying. I'd like to help you say it clearly! My goal is not to tell you what to say, but rather to help you express your own thoughts.
I tutor for English and writing classes, ages 12 and up–including undergraduate level!
