About Lara
I'm an adaptable and enthusiastic person, who is fairly ambitious. I am taking a gap year to ameliorate my A Level results, to pursue Chemical Engineering at university level. To retake my exams, I'm self-teaching, which allows me to break down the content and thoroughly understand what I'm learning. I feel these skills can be transferred to tutoring, where I will do my best to ensure my student understands everything we go through. I believe that an interest in the subject really does help when learning. Physics A Level was the hardest subject for me, but I did some further reading, where often I surpassed the specification and was able to see the application of the Physics I was learning. I intend to fuel interest as well as my student's grades! Aside from studies, I play piano regularly, and have a keen interest in yoga. I've been friends with Lara for a long time and in this time she's helped better my understanding of difficult concepts greatly. I sat next to her during A Level Physics classes and when I didn't understand something the teacher had explained, she conveyed the meaning clearly and concisely.
