About Isaac
My name is Isaac. I am currently studying A-Level Biology and going on to study a biology-related course at university, so I understand how difficult KS3 and GCSE Biology can feel.
When I was preparing for my GCSEs, I was written off as an underperformer. This wasn’t because I lacked ability, but because I wasn’t being taught in a way that worked for me or kept me engaged when things got challenging.
It wasn’t until my mock results came back, and I had a few months to reflect, that I took initiative myself. I put in the work to find revision strategies that actually suited me and taught myself the content properly. That shift led me to achieving top grades in GCSE Biology and continuing that success into A-Level.
This made me realize something important: every student has the potential to achieve top grades, often with less work than they think but only if they are taught in the right way for them.
The problem is, not everyone can teach themselves two years of content and exam technique in a short space of time. That’s where I come in.
I’m not telling this story to suggest you should do the same. I’m showing you what’s possible with the right approach. My role is to help you find your way of learning, and give you the tools and techniques to succeed without wasting time or effort.

My goal is simple: identify each student’s weak points and systematically turn them into strengths.
I don’t believe any student is “bad at exams” or “not academic.” In most cases, they’ve just never been taught in a way that actually works for them. Classrooms are built for the average not the individual and that’s where many students fall behind each year and fail to get the grades that they deserve or want.
My job is to fix that.
I tailor every session to the individual student, focusing on how they learn best, not just what they need to learn. Along the way, I aim to build confidence, independence, and a genuine understanding of the subject not just short-term memorization which can provide an illusion of progress at first but fails to deliver the same results that real understanding can.

NO one is inherently bad at writing exams.
All it takes is to practice the exact skills needed to succeed in GCSE exams, application, structure, and mark scheme thinking.

Isaac has been a massive help with GCSE Biology. He explains things in a way that actually makes sense, instead of just going over the textbook again. Before working with him, a lot of topics felt confusing and hard to remember, but he breaks everything down step by step and links it to real examples, which makes it stick.
The biggest difference has been in exam technique. He shows you exactly how to answer questions properly, not just know the content. After a few sessions, there was a big jump in both confidence and grades it went from struggling to hitting much higher marks consistently.
He’s easy to work with, patient, and actually gets why students find things difficult because he’s been through it himself.
