About Iván
I am a MA in Language Teaching candidate from Birkbeck College, University of London with teaching experience of 3+ years in Colombia.
I worked as a private tutor and language teacher in primary school levels and language tuition centres between 2012 and 2015.
I will be pleased to join the teaching community in England working with teenagers and adults to resume my teaching career and practice all relevant teaching skills in accordance with the new approaches and methodologies for online and in-person tuition.

I can spend between one and three hours per tuition session. I will first review the classroom-taught topic and advise the students to think of what they have understood about the studied topic. The students will then use their previous knowledge to confirm that they have the skills to understand the new topics. An example of analysis of a topic can be provided to elicit their questions in a precise manner and survey different sources for answers theoretically and empirically.
