About Lucy
I have previously tutored in the core subjects and essay skills and am now expanding to include Latin and classics. I studied Latin to A level and Classical civilization to GCSE with an A in both therefore am very familiar with the skills needed to succeed in these subjects. I am currently studying A level Ancient history and have a wide range of knowledge about Roman and Greek culture and have studied important texts such as the Aeneid and historical documentations of Tacitus.

The method I use for teaching will vary depending on the subject and closeness to the exam. I teach Latin up to A level and will teach grammatical constructs and translation then provide examples to practice on. In addition I teach students how to easily spot notable points and analyse set texts in essay form. I also teach Classical Civilization at GCSE level using a method of teaching the information and showing students how to organize these in an essay. For more essay practise I set essay questions at regular intervals and mark them giving specific feedback for next time.
