About Fergus
I have over 5 years tutoring experience. I have successfully tutored varying abilities for 14+ & A-Level and helped them achieve the exam grades they wanted. I am very familiar with IGCSE, WJEC & OCR exam boards, but I have adapted my own curriculum for each student that I have tutored.

I'm a 1st First Honours Classics Graduate from Bristol University and I'm very experienced in tutoring Latin for all abilities. Whether you need help with 11+ or you're anxious about your A-Level, through extensive and focussed passage translation, I can help build up confidence and improve Latin vocabulary and comprehension.
I believe that learning Latin is not about slaving over grammar tables and isolated vocab testing, but rather translating real passages and repeatedly building familiarity and experience. Of course we'll make it fun and accessible and each session will be tailored to your needs and sticking points. I have an exhaustive library of material, as well as other tools such as flashcards, to which you will have complete access.
