About Sonia
Hi, I'm Sonia! I'm a Law graduate from King's College London and have always been passionate about English Literature and Language. I love analysing texts, reading, and writing. This love has helped me achieve exceptional grades within the subjects and has grown significantly as a result of the teachers I have had during my education. I aspire to help students feel and achieve the same.
I fundamentally believe each student is capable of achieving the highest grades with support and belief in their abilities. I prioritise ensuring that students are not only learning and understanding the subject, but enjoying it too!

I am patient, friendly, and confident in all of my students' abilities to grow and become the best version of themselves.
My teaching methodology prioritises knowledge and understanding over memorisation. I tailor lessons to the stage that each student is currently in and proceed with a method that suits the student's ability, also ensuring that the student's voice and preference is taken into account throughout the process.
I use a range of different learning styles - visual, auditory, reading, and writing. Examples of answers (including previous essays I have written) are used throughout to ensure students have an idea of what is expected. Questions are welcome at all stages!
My lessons are for Year 11-13 students in London, usually 1 hour long.
