For English, I first help the student realise the two most important components that are key to tackling both AQA English Literature and English Language new course. After that, I'd focus on each one individually, eventually combining both of them.
I have many different methods when it comes to teaching. The way I teach and the hours all depend on the student’s preference.
I am a college student currently in the process of applying to university. I study chemistry, biology, Sociology and Health and Social Care. I give lessons in English and Science to children from primary school up until secondary, I also give maths lessons to children up till the age of 11.
My teaching method is to break any given subject down until it clicks for the subject being taught. Many teachers seem to take subjects to levels of intricacy that are pointless when the student has failed to grasp basic concepts about their subject and what is required of them in examination.
Depending on the length of time we have together, our classes will be fully planned and follow a structure. I will prepare worksheets, set small pieces of homework and set small goals which I will help you reach. I am looking to tutor children who need help with their reading (if they wanted to increase their reading ages), spelling, punctuation and grammar.
I usually try to exaplain a topic or a question and we’ll work together on further understanding and remembering the certain topic. I know revising can be boring but I try to make it fun.

My aim is to eventually make myself redundant by encouraging in students the ability to think critically about their fundamental approaches to a given topic.
