About Isaac
Hello! My name is Isaac and I am a Law Graduate from the University of Bristol. I also hold a Master's in Acting from the Guildford School of Acting (GSA).
I have over a decade of experience in the world of coaching and teaching, with my experience including teaching English overseas in Nepal, as well as work as a student ambassador/helper. I have also coached a variety of different sports (including tennis) to people of all ages and abilities. My experience in the academic, creative and sporting worlds are incredibly beneficial when applied to tutoring, as it gives me a different perspective to how teachers tend to carry out lessons. My methods seek to bring fun into learning, as this is the best way for knowledge to become ingrained. Whilst there will be times when we have to work more seriously (ie. answering example exam questions), this will always be done so with light-heartedness paired with concentration.
I relish the opportunity to teach and to help people gain confidence in areas they otherwise weren't.

I believe that the best way to learn is through active learning - using fun and interactive ways to stimulate the brain and engage with what is being taught. Whether that be through quizzes, games or other interactive means, these foundations create a vivid understanding of the topic areas, allowing you to apply your knowledge more confidently and coherently when writing longer-form answers.
Typical lessons are an hour in length. The first thirty-to-forty minutes tend to look at a particular topic area in-depth, before focusing on a relevant question and how it would be answered.
I graduated from the University of Bristol with a Law Degree in 2023. I also achieved a Master's (with Distinction) in Acting from the Guildford School of Acting (GSA) in 2025. As a result, I am highly skilled in both critical and analytical thinking, paired with creativity and a passion for both subjects.
My lessons are specifically tailored for GCSE and A-Level students.

I met Isaac while we were studying as undergraduates at university. Although I’ve not had the pleasure of his academic teaching, when he has given me tennis coaching, his teaching method is very attentive and personalized. He paid close attention and identified gaps for improvement. A shared experience with Isaac would have to be the countless times we critique and compare songs, albums, TV, and film.
