I've never really been professional about my teaching. But when I come together with my mates to explain, I start with an introduction into the particular topic, then I state what we should have achieved at the end of the lesson and then I dive into each sub-topic one by one, making sure that they understand it well. I don't move on to other sub-topics until I'm sure that everyone gets it
