I am a seasoned drummer and instructor based in Kolkata, India, with over 5 years of experience as a session drummer and teacher. My musical journey has taken me through genres like alternative, pop, prog, fusion, and metal. I am dedicated to delivering personalized music sessions tailored to each student's age and aspirations, with a vision to make learning music enjoyable. My teaching philosophy centers on playing from the heart and practicing with discipline. I've had the privilege of being mentored by Mr. Dipayan Chakraborty, and I strive to teach students to think beyond music theory, encouraging creativity and playing with passion.

Our drumming sessions are meticulously divided into four key sections:
1. Theory: We begin by discussing the fundamentals of drumming, including staff notation and understanding metronome subdivisions, to build a solid theoretical and rhythmic foundation.
2. Rudiments: This section focuses on mastering over 40 rudiments, playing them precisely in various modulations using a metronome.
3. Independence & Groove: We explore advanced techniques like keeping time on the left foot, moving rudiments across the drum kit with melodies, and adding dynamics to grooves, making them more expressive and versatile.
4. Chops & Shredding: Addressing the most common student inquiry—how to play faster and develop chops—we emphasize disciplined practice. Shredding is taught as a combination of chops and fills, executed with rhythmic fluidity and dynamic power, enabling students to solo and improvise with confidence.
