About Isaac
I am a junior in high school who recently placed 6th in the Minnesota State chess tournament. My rating is about 1600, and I have experience teaching at several middle school chess camps. Outside of chess, I play football and basketball for my high school, while also running track. I love to interact with younger athletes, sharing my love for sports with them, and hope to share the same love of chess with all my students here.

I start by assessing each student's level of understanding by watching them play, and from there make a plan to help them improve. I will take them though all stages of the game, and teach though tactics, game analysis, and a solid opening repertoire that the student feels comfortable playing.
I may be young, but my passion for chess and dedication towards my students is a worthy investment!
