About Priyamvada

I'm a Yoga Coach and Trainer based in Mumbai, India. I have completed 1000+ hours of learning and have taught over 224 people. My classes are individualized, personalized, therapeutic and help people achieve their health goals taking into consideration their needs, body type and medical history. After taking the sessions, students have reported relief from spasms, hormonal issues, anxiety, aches, pains and more. My Yoga clientele includes Film Editors, Pilots, Architects, Authors, Filmmakers, Producers, CEOs, Casting Directors, Managers, HRs, Fashion Designers, Business Owners, journalists, bioinformaticians, Teachers, Corporates and yes, even a scientist. Spirituality has been a topic of deep interest, fascination and reverence for me. Thanks to my family, I was merely 13 when I first did a Yoga course for children and got my hands on the teachings of Paramahansa Yogananda. When I had to do a course for an extra credit for my honors graduation, I chose to do one on Zen meditation. That same year, I went for my first Vipassana course. Some years back, I contracted amoebiasis due to contaminated food, I recovered from the E. histolytica but that infection had not only weakened my body but resulted in high uric acid, allergies, colitis, piles and persistent pain in my stomach, IBS and indigestion. When allopathic doctors told me there is no cure for IBS and other issues I had contracted - that it could only be managed by medicines - I decided that I want to heal myself. I did not want to live in constant pain - that's the least I owed to myself. That's when my healing journey started. Initially, it was just to cure myself and study the spiritual and yogic teachings deeper because I love the subject. But after turning down many teaching opportunities, sometime in 2019 I decided - why not teach? And there has been no looking back since then. Since the time I started learning Yoga to date, I have maintained consistent study and practice of the subject and my aim is to stay true to the core science of Yoga. My classes are focused on the health, needs and goals of the student. Every session is individualized and personalized.

The rate mentioned as 'Hourly Fee' is for online/webcam classes. Same with the 'Pack Prices' which is mentioned - it is the online pricing, not offline. The 'Travel Costs' is the compensative costs for travel time + transportation charges to the student location. Can be more if travel distance is more than 15kms from Chembur West. I do not offer my first class for free, it's a glitch at Superprof end.
