About Marize
Hi! I’ve always been someone who learns and thinks a little differently. For a long time, that made me feel like I wasn’t smart enough, especially when I struggled to understand things the way they were being taught. I eventually realised that I didn’t need to be “smarter” — I just needed someone to explain things in a way that worked for me. That experience is one of the reasons I want to tutor. I want to help students find the way of learning that works best for them, build their confidence and show them that struggling with something doesn’t mean they aren’t capable. I’m patient, understanding and determined to make learning feel less stressful and more achievable.

My rate is R150 per hour for online lessons. I believe every student learns differently, so I adapt my teaching style to help you understand in a way that works best for you. My first 30-minute lesson is free, giving us a chance to discuss your goals and learning needs.
