About Nikhil
Hi, I’m Nikhil – a guitarist, educator, and co-founder of Kalaa Talks Foundation, where I use arts and music to empower young people. With over 14 years in music and creative education, I blend solid technique with a fun, expressive approach to guitar learning. I specialize in teaching beginners and intermediate players of all ages, combining fundamentals with real songs, jamming, and storytelling through music. My style draws from classic rock, blues, Indian indie, and cinematic sounds – shaped by years of performing, composing, and mentoring across schools, communities, and creative projects. Alongside teaching, I lead music and art-based programs with organizations like Music Basti, NalandaWay, and SowGood, and design experiences where music becomes a tool for expression, confidence, and connection.
