Ricks been a great teacher. He delivers the content applicable to the student and thier sense of taste in mangeable portions so that if practiced at home noteable progress can be seen rather quickly. Ive become more comfortable moving around the fretboard in key with the mosic i am playing and developing new techniques to become a "tighter" player. Rick has been a great teacher and if you do the work he shows and gives to you, you will see the rewards in your playing.

Rick is a teacher who makes it easy to start learning guitar. He uses a simple and direct way to make me understand what to do correctly and encourages me to practice more. He makes me more interested and confident in learning to play the guitar.

Rick is an excellent teacher with many years and experience. Nothing ever escapes his gaze as he watches you play and is able to pick apart what you can do to improve. He is also very patient and understanding especially for beginner players that their hands are still developing when they're at the beginning of their guitar journey.

What's good about Rick is that he not only teaches you what to do, but tells you why its so important and that each subject he teaches you is built on the foundations of the previous subject. Another cool thing is he teaches you what to look for when you're practicing alone, he helps build a framework on self analysis so you are able to explore by yourself. In simple terms, he helps you fish and teaches you how to fish.

I'll always prefer going to these lessons in person. If you must have online lessons, make sure your internet is good, you have a good microphone and a good camera.

Rick is a professional guitar tutor. He is very patient with beginners and always focuses on foundation. I recommend Rick to anyone who wants to learn guitar seriously.

Rick has a great teaching style and tonnes of confidence in his music, he also intertwines philosophy into his guitar lessons to show how music is more than just noise. He has ample experience with all levels of guitar students and can spot areas to improve quickly and efficiently.

I was looking for someone with infectious passion for music.
Someone whose enthusiasm and encouragement makes you forget you're even learning.
I found these qualitys in Rick.
An extremely knowledgable, skilled and vibrant teacher.
Perhaps not the best if you're after someone stuffy and by the books? Although with his can do attitude I'm pretty sure he could probably nail that too if you needed him to?

His price may look high at first glance, but these are full hour lessons unlike many others. Rick has not been shy to go a little over at times when the lesson has necessitated. No promises though. That might just be my charming influence.

In summary, I cannot recommend Rick enough!

I find Rick is a very talented musician, is very patient and a good listener. I am 10 years old and Rick has been my teacher for about 3 years. If you go to Rick with a song he will elaborate on the techniques and basics that you need to learn before you even start with the song. This makes the song easier to learn. Rick also explains the theory and basics which helps in not only learning a song but also to write your own.

Couldn’t recommend Rick more, learned more in one hour with Rick than I did in several months of practicing alone. Very knowledgeable and excellent at spotting flaws in my technique and how to remedy them. Easy going and creates a pressure free learning environment for his students. Only regret is I didn’t start lessons with him sooner!
