About Dr Shalini
Hello! I'm Dr. Shalini Gupta, a medical doctor (MBBS) and a Master's student in Surgical and Interventional Sciences at McGill University.
I believe medicine is much more than memorizing textbooks; it's about understanding concepts, thinking critically, and applying knowledge to real-life clinical situations. My teaching style focuses on helping students develop strong clinical reasoning, communicate confidently in medical English, and bridge the gap between theory and practice.
I offer tutoring in Biology, Pharmacology, General Medicine, Medical English, Emergency Medicine concepts, Clinical Reasoning, Interview Preparation, and research skills. Whether you're preparing for high school or university exams, medical school, interviews, or looking to strengthen your understanding of healthcare, I tailor each lesson to your goals and learning style.
Having studied medicine internationally, worked in emergency and inpatient settings, and now pursuing graduate studies at McGill, I understand the challenges students face and enjoy making complex concepts clear, engaging, and practical. My goal is not only to help you succeed academically but also to build the confidence and problem-solving skills that every future healthcare professional needs.
