I'm an experienced trainer, facilitator and coach (ICF) with a mental and emotional well-being specialism. I will share a variety techniques using mixed media and journaling to help you become more mindful and relaxed - the benefits of which you take with you into everyday life and living.
My background is in secondary and post graduate initial teacher training with over 30 years experience. I added to my skills over the last 8 years by training in NLP, coaching, mindfulness and applications of arts and crafts for wellbeing. Since 2011 I have created and delivered wellbeing programmes especially for pupils unable to access mainstream education and for adults experiencing severe stress and trauma.
The above rates are a guide as these will vary depending on the number of students/clients and this can be decided through an initial consultation.
Late 2009 I began my journey to become a Life Coach and NLP Facilitator after grinding to a halt with total burnout in 2008. This was partly as personal therapy and partly to be able to help others never to get to this state. I have since learned mindfulness meditation and incorporate this into courses having developed techniques to show how this can be used in everyday life.
My career in education of over 35 years has provided the know-how to understand individuals and how to design and deliver courses tailored to their needs. My background is in teaching secondary pupils, teachers in training (The OAKS, Keele University, Newman University), and teachers CPD via five national organisations (RE Today Team, Christian Aid, RE Council, Creative Education, British Council). My specialisms: Religious/Beliefs Education, Thinking Skills (P4C), SMSC and Wellbeing and Personal Development Programmes.
