About Danielle

Your introduction
Edit
I am a professional dancer who has danced professionally with ballet companies, on board Celebrity Cruises and toured the U.S. with the Utah Ballroom Dance Company. I have a B.F.A. in Dance from The University of California - Irvine and I have been teaching and coaching for over 10 years all over the U.S.. Some of my former students have won national dance competitions in ballet, jazz and song - pom and some are now dancing professionally including several as NFL cheerleaders. I also work with people on their wedding dance and hold group classes for the bridal party (Check out more information on wedding dances by following @FirstDanceNashville on Instagram). If you are looking for a fitness routine I also teach barre fitness classes -- along with dance fitness or dance technique. I have worked with students from ages 3 to 88. It is never too late to start dancing :)

I can bring my own barre, music, and expertise to your house providing a customized workout for you from the comfort of your home (living room, garage, even outside)! If space is an issue we can discuss other locations at studios, or even online.

I love figuring out how people learn. During each lesson we set goals to work on and exercises to practice before our next lesson. This will help you excel quicker and feel more confident in your dancing.

It is so rewarding to see someone learn a new dance move and feel confident doing so. I love hearing their stories about how to go out and show their friends and family what they have learned!
