About Dhrupti
I am a mother to an 18-year-old daughter and I love travelling. My favourite holidays have been to Thailand, Hong Kong, Portugal and Mexico. I took a career change, and began working in schools. I have gained a lot of experience working with children with learning difficulties, children on the ASD spectrum, behaviour issues and also got a lot of experience working with children who will be sitting their SAT's, 7+ and 11+ exams. I make teaching a fun experience and believe that learning through play is a much better way of learning.
I am fun loving, caring and nurturing. I have a passion for new experiences, meeting new people and always willing to give something a try before giving up. I believe that failing at something you have tried is better than failing before you have begun. Teaching young minds is something I never thought I would enjoy, yet here I am 11 years later and not a dull moment or never the same day. Seeing a smile on a child's face when they have accomplished something, regardless of how small, is the best feeling and just makes the day so much brighter.

I love to teach in a fun way where each lesson and subject is taught in a memorable way. I like to tutor for 1.5 hours depending on the age of the child. I have a BA (Hons) Business Administration degree specialising in HR. I am kind, passionate about teaching and have a great relationship with children from EYFS to Year 6. I believe that learning should be fun and enjoyable. Each lesson will be different, and taught at the child's pace and needs. A child should enjoy learning and I believe that each lesson should reflect their accomplishments and something they have grasped, and not their failures.

Details
I charge £18 per hour for reception aged children to Year 1. My fees then go up to £22 for Years 2-4 and then £25 to Year 5-6.
I am happy to discuss the rates with you at any time. I do not charge for travel if the location is within a 10-20 minute drive, however if I am travelling more than 25 minutes then there will be a small extra charge.
